Currently supports SATA2 chips: Intel ICH7 series south bridge, VIA’s VT8251 south bridge, NVIDIA’s nForce4 Ultra, SLI chip, C51 series, ULi M1573 south bridge. In terms of additional chips, Silicon Image, which has been making great efforts for SATA, also has 3124 chips that support SATA2.
Applications:
Double-headed shrapnel with flat shield is a high-performance accessory for DIY installation. High speed and stable connection!
Good materials and workmanship. Good SATA cables on the market. You can use it to connect SATA master disk or as The server hard drive connections are very good! The hard disk, as an important accessory that affects the performance of the whole machine, has been stagnant in speed in recent years. The hard disk we are using has basically maintained the same level of speed as three years ago. From 2002 to the present, although the hard disk interface has realized the transformation from PATA to SATA, the speed has not been improved. When SATA failed to bring much improvement to hard disk speed, SATA2 came to us again.
Everyone must be familiar with SATA technology. SATA is the abbreviation of “Serial ATA”. In popular terms, it is a serial data transmission interface. The main difference between it and the parallel data transmission interface (PATA) we often talk about is transmission. Different methods: Serial ATA transmits data in a continuous serial manner, and only 1 bit of data is transmitted at a time, which can reduce the number of connecting cables and increase efficiency; while data transmission in PATA transmits data in parallel. Multiple clocks are transmitted simultaneously in one clock cycle. As an example of an image point, suppose a movie theater has 8 side-by-side entrances (think of it as the PATA interface of a hard disk). Then, this movie theater will allow 8 people to pass at the same time (that is, one clock cycle to transmit multiple bits of data) This is parallel; when there is only one entrance in a movie theater, then it can only allow one person to pass at the same time (that is, 1 bit of data is transmitted in one clock cycle), we can understand it as serial. In fact, to put it more simply, parallel and serial are actually the difference between “going side by side” and “going side by side”.
